A little thanks to the two hombres who email-voted for the entry below. I'm sorry i didn't canvass for votes (yups, its a viral campaign to raise website hit rates) but as Alvin/dragaz pointed out at Cuandi's birthday yesterday, those were pure reaction votes and for people like me thats all thats needed to keep us going. q0.op

Folks around me say they are struggling for their art. For my art, its never a struggle. The day it starts to seem like a struggle would be the day I quit.

Media Executive is for hombres who are creative with mouth. Makes things happen with the creativity with their mouth. I don't have this kinda immense talent. I can only do videos, sketch and paint and create 3D elepants and flyby a 35mm virtual camera around it while fireworks explode in the background. I can't 'make things happen' just by talking, so please don't call me a Media executive. Harhar.

I totally suck at coming up with Interview questions. Stared at the screen for the whole of this morning, wondering, no manically hoping for a good question to pop up for the Corrine May Interview.

Hence my christmas wish is for the new department to budget me a scriptwriter.

Plus a digital executive to handle all those worisome emails, conference calls and MSN conversations with the telcos.

Plus a camera person to hold the camera

Plus an intern to boss around.

Haha. Seriously someone should come up with a human department mall, so that i can go shop for all the above and more.

Here's the video Dragaz n I made for fly by night 2006. We thought it sucks big time, but apparently the rest of the world doesn't think so.

I felt bad ringing my friend up at the last minute to ask him to help us out with voice-acting. He awkwardly turned down the request at the end.

I'm a strong adovcator of not ringing up friends because you need something from them, be it companionship, for advice or just plain abusing whatever talents/skills they have which you don't.
( Which happens to me alot. 'Leon, hey you are good at video right?' 'hey leon, you know the market rate for video people right?' 'hey leon, long time never see, can you help me do a motion graphics stuff for my company's presentation at the retreat, treat you dinner later mans.' )

Gee. Will you still treat me dinner just because I'm your friend AND if i turned down your request to do the 'motion graphics' presentation? Oh yeah, you'd rather go clubbing with that hot colleague of yours, that makes more sense hombre.

Do something noble today. Call your friend and ask him/her how you may be of assistance to him/her.

o_0 a mid week entry.

Supposed to go watch paprika with some hommies but decided not to coz today's chilling out time with gramps. The old fuddy duddy just had a fall with some bruises in her eye. Craps. Bought Chee Queh to her house, ate and listened to her same ol' griping about family stuff.

You know the way adults like to repeat the same sentence or word over and over during the same conversation? It's like... adult conversation magic, you know. The trick is to re-phrase it in the most creative manner to make it seem like you're elaborating on the subject.

'You know Ah Chen's daughter? She working at McDonald's, manager. At tampines that one, Mc Donald's you know?'

'Really?'

'Yah, McDonalds. Tampines one. She working there. Not much, but is manager'

'Oh'

'Manager already quite good. You know Uncle Ah Chen right? Uncle Chen's daughter loh. Yah she working there. McDonalds'

'hmmm'

It's great to sweep off some cyberdust over here. Phew~!

Have not stopped blogging but was blogging elsewhere. Anyway its good to come back to great ol' Xanga with all these new effy features!

This is gonna be some kinda inane blogging, so if you're looking for artworks, stories or some brilliant inspiration, you can forget about it. Haha.

First up, selfshioking with some pictures! Was phonedjacked recently by some lame hoodlums, who convinced me that this picture was damn selfshiok! Wakakaka, i concurr you assholes, after looking at it for 5 days!

Nice! Was convinced my newly acquired N70's awesome camera abilities are underutilized. So more pictures!

Hahah so inane!

Wakakaka. Okay home talk. That's what boring bloggers do. Er, parents have moved out of the house, leaving sis and me. They went to look after cousin Valerie who just came back from Oman and is having trouble adjusting to the fast paced lifestyle of Sillypore.

Hooray! I hooray because sis usually stays away from home. Home = hotel for her. Just come back sleep then go work tmrw.

So simple equation: House - sis = Me is master of the house! MUAHAAHAAHA.

Actually its not sucha biggie deal. ITS frigging quiet!

Wakaka. Okay, office talk. That's what boring bloggers do. Er, major upheaval in the office after the major retrenchment exercise. There's gonna be major reshuffling of seating arrangements in office.

Hooray! I hooray because I currently sit with MY BACK FACING THE MAIN ENTRANCE OF THE OFFICE CORRIDOR LOH.

This totally sucks because EVERYONE who comes in or goes out sees what I'm doing in my cubicle, like ie, picking my nose, surfing porn sites ( GO U-nee GO! ), or get jiggy watching me webcam with some funky Czech transversite.

Lucky my main workstation with the Macs are somewhere less erm... exposed?

Bottomline is, I will be shifting. And that's good. Coz it can't get any worse than this.

Unless they put me between the security guard and the receptionist at the front desk.

I guess thats it for this entry. Let's see. Selfshioking pictures? Check. Blog about boring office stuff? Check.

Oh. Let's see I had: coffee for breakfast. McDonalds for lunch ( Was forced to lunch with a evil cutie coz equally evil Jeremiah had too much music compositions to .. eh.. compose. ) Dinner was chicken rice with the two old lamers, Leeds and Val (complete with her awesome purple streaked hair)

I brushed my teeth today but not yesterday.

And for those of you who helped out during the tsunami disaster, are you still helping those poor folks over at Indonesia? Remember it doesn't take two weeks to reconstruct a bridge, it takes two years.

Sometimes even longer. It's so much easier being a hypocrite, isn't it?
